Dear Parent/Carer
Re: Bromcom My Child At School App
At Waltham Toll Bar Academy, in preparation for the new academic year, we will be switching to the Bromcom My Child At School (MCAS) platform for accepting payments for school meals / trips etc. This is to reduce the number of apps required by parents, and to make our systems more efficient. Any credit / debit balances currently held within ParentPay will be transferred over to your MCAS account by the finance team over the summer break. Please be aware that during this transition period there may be a slight delay before the balances appear in your MCAS account.
Following the move to the new system we will no longer be issuing “pink slips” to students with insufficient monies on their account. Unfortunately, the new system does not have a facility for negative balances, and we would therefore like to ask all parents/carers to ensure they set their low balance reminder to alert you, in order to ensure your child is able to access meals when they are required.
Please can I ask that you familiarise yourself with the platform by following the link below:-
What is MCAS?
MyChildAtSchool (MCAS) is a portal that can enable Parents to view their child's academic performance in real-time via a web browser or mobile app. This facility allows access to key academic dates, attendance information, timetables and the personal details the Academy holds for you and your child.
The following modules are available in MCAS:
The app is simple to download and access using the email address that you have supplied to Waltham Toll Bar Academy. The app is available through the Google Store or Apple Store, just search for My Child At School app by Bromcom Computers Plc. Should you require your password resetting, please contact enquiries@tollbaracademy.co.uk who can assist with this.
If you have any questions or queries regarding this process, please contact enquiries@tollbaracademy.co.uk
Yours faithfully
Mr Andrew Major
