Introduction of Epraise rewards platform

Dear Parents and Carers

RE: Introduction of Epraise rewards platform.

We are pleased to inform you about a new development in how we will be recognising and rewarding students’ achievements at Waltham Toll Bar Academy. From September, we will be introducing the use of an online rewards platform called Epraise: www.epraise.co.uk

Through Epraise, students will be able to earn points from their teachers for effort, progress, participation, and positive contributions across a wide range of activities. A leader board will allow students to see their progress, and we aim to have a rewards shop and raffle system in place by October half term where students can spend the points they’ve earnt.

Our existing ‘Learners of the Lesson’ award will continue. Students who receive this recognition will be awarded 10 points through Epraise, and their names will be displayed on the classroom ‘Learners of the Lesson’ board. In addition, our postcard system will also remain in place to recognise consistent hard work and dedication in lessons, enrichment, and wider school life.

At Waltham Toll Bar Academy, we remain committed to celebrating students’ successes and rewarding them for their effort, achievements, and positive contributions to school life. Epraise will help us to further strengthen this culture of recognition and encouragement.

Further details on how parents and students can log in to Epraise will be provided by October half term to ensure a smooth and clear introduction of the platform.
