Dear Parents and Carers

At Waltham Toll Bar Academy, we believe that strong communication between our parents/carers and the academy is essential in facilitating the success of your child. We are committed to making sure that you have the best possible experience when communicating with us.

Following an in-depth review of the academy communication system last term, I am pleased to share some updates that were fully implemented before the summer. To streamline communication and ensure that your queries are addressed by the right staff members, we kindly ask that you send any queries or feedback to enquiries@tollbaracademy.co.uk. This will guarantee that all relevant staff are aware of feedback and will respond accordingly. It will also allow for a system to check that emails have been escalated where appropriate, ensuring that all feedback is acknowledged and acted upon in a timely manner.

We would ask parents/carers to please use the communication system rather than email staff directly. We do not give out staff email addresses and where external emails are blocked by our systems, it can have a negative impact on our communication procedures.

I would also like to take a moment to thank you for the kind compliments and positive feedback the school has already received this academic year. The students have had a fantastic start to the year and the learning environments in the academy have been exceptional.
