Every student is different. Careers guidance at Waltham Toll Bar therefore combines a whole-school programme of careers education with opportunities for individual support. 

Students in Years 10 and 11 receive a one-to-one careers guidance meeting with our Careers Adviser, Ms Watterson. These conversations help students explore their aspirations, understand the pathways available to them and make informed decisions about their next steps. 

We recognise that some young people may benefit from additional or earlier support. Looked After Children and students with SEND are prioritised so that we can identify whether further careers guidance or transition support is required. 

At Key Stage 3, students are also offered Aspiration Meetings. These conversations help us understand students' developing interests and ambitions at an earlier stage and enable us to provide experiences that nurture those interests.
